The Planet
Representing one of the last uninhabited, stable bodies in the solar system, the planet is a point of contention between the solar system’s various factions.
During game setup, the planet card is placed at the center of the shared play area (called the 'planetary zone'). The planet has four claim points, each with an associated token that is placed on it. The planet is often your key to victory. You can win by either capturing the planet's claim tokens and completing objective cards or by surrounding all four sides of the planet with your unit cards while your opponent has no unit cards in play. |
Card Types
Unit cards represent your soldiers. Your units are played into the plantary zone, either adjacent to the planet or to another allied unit already in play. Each of your units can be activated, allowing them to maneuver around the planetary zone, attack enemies, and capture claim tokens.
Asset cards represent various holdings under your control, granting you passive and paid benefits. Your assets are played into your personal play area.
Event cards represent your armaments and tactics, providing powerful one-shot effects. After you play an event and resolve its ability, it is discarded to your discard pile.
Objective cards represent your strategic goals. Your "objective deck" starts the game in your personal play area, with the top card of the deck turned face-up. During your turn, you can complete a face-up objective card in either player's play area by spending the required supply and claim tokens. After an objective is completed, it is set aside into your personal score area. Once you have three objective cards in your score area, you win the game!
SupplyEvery card in your deck has a 'supply cost' found in its upper-left, which is the supply token you must spend in order to play or use that card.
During each of your turns, you have one supply of each rank (I, II, III, and IV), with the rank of a supply determining its value. A supply can only be spent to perform an action of equal or lower rank. For example, a rank I supply can only be spent to play rank I cards, but a rank III supply can be spent to play cards of rank I, II, or III. Drawing cards from your deck is the exception to this—one supply can be spent to draw one card, no matter the rank of that supply. |
Turn Structure
Each turn consists of two phases: the Action Phase and the End Phase.
Action Phase
When your action phase begins, resolve each “Turn Begins” ability on cards you control.
Then, perform actions. You may perform actions in any combination and order as long as you can pay the appropriate costs. Additionally, you must spend all of your available supply during your action phase. Once you have no supply remaining, your action phase ends.
The list of actions that you can perform are:
End Phase
Once you've spent all of your supply during your action phase and can no longer perform actions, complete the following sequence in order:

- Complete an objective card (yours or your opponent's).
End Phase
Once you've spent all of your supply during your action phase and can no longer perform actions, complete the following sequence in order:
- Draw the topmost card of your deck into your hand. If you cannot draw because your deck is empty, you lose the game.
- Discard until you have cards in hand equal to you hand size (starting hand size is 5).
- Refresh each of your supply tokens.
- Resolve each "Turn Ends" abilities on cards you control.
